Unfortunately for Eljanov, he had White today, and now he's in a four-way tie for first with Leko, Jakovenko, and Gashimov, all of whom drew. They have 4.5 out of 8, half a point ahead of seven other players: Ponomariov, Inarkiev, Mamedyarov, Radjabov, Gelfand, Alekseev and Wang Yue. Ivanchuk and Svidler are only a further half a point behind at 3.5, and Akopian - who won a very nice (but extremely long) game today - brings up the rear with 3. Everyone is still in it!
